Hey there, we’ve got an awesome South African cartoonist to introduce to you today! His name is “Scribbly G“, but his buddies call him Scribbly. He was born in the lush jungles of South Africa and loves creating hilarious comics with unexpected twists. Scribbly started drawing comics as a hobby and has gained a huge following of 46.9k fans on his Instagram account!

Scribbly’s artistic journey started almost 4 years ago and his comics range from short 3 or 4-panel drawings filled with a dark sense of humor to longer 6-panel pieces or more. When he was just 9 years old, Scribbly was hit by a car and broke both of his legs. But instead of dwelling on his misfortune, he channeled his experiences into creating hilarious and weird comics.

Scribbly shared his comics with a friend who suggested he post them online. At first, he thought it was a silly idea, but he decided to give it a try and see what people thought. Turns out, people loved his unique style and quirks, so he kept on creating!

Scribbly’s comics helped him deal with depression and he uses a bit of dark humor to express himself. He says, “If I find it funny, I’m pretty sure at least one other person will laugh, and that’s a win”. We’ve included some of his awesome comics in the following section.
