Verauko’s Side-Splitting Polish Comic Collection: 29 Laughter-Inducing Gems

What’s the secret to becoming a successful creator? It’s simple: master your art, keep those creative ideas flowing, and build a strong social media presence. And if you’re looking for inspiration, Natalia Trykowska (also known as Verauko) is the perfect example. She’s a highly productive graphic designer and digital artist from Poland, currently based in London, UK.

Alongside her commercial projects, Verauko regularly treats her almost 48,000 Instagram followers to her delightful comics.

“I love exploring a wide range of themes in my illustrations,”.”Sometimes I depict real-life situations, and other times I dive into the realm of whimsical imaginings. There are no limits when it comes to topics, except for politics.

I prefer to draw things that bring people together rather than divide them, as my knowledge on that subject is limited.”

Throughout the years, Verauko has focused mainly on graphic design and digital drawing. Graphic design stems from her work experience in advertising, while digital drawing has been a lifelong passion since her childhood.

For Natalia, the hardest part of the creative process is coming up with ideas. “Fortunately, I have a vivid imagination when it comes to visuals, but when it comes to developing a story, my mind sometimes goes blank,” Verauko added. “That’s why most of my comics revolve around everyday ‘problems’ like random encounters with naked butts on the streets or uncontrollable fits of laughter in coffee shops. These silly and unexpected situations actually happen to me, and that’s why I draw them.”

Once she has the idea, the drawing process becomes relatively easy for her.

Verauko’s experience and talent come as no surprise considering the effort she put into honing her skills. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Take a moment to scroll down and enjoy her captivating comics.
