Ademar Vieira is a storyteller who has the guts to tell these stories. He uses comics as his medium, but he does not need any words to convey his messages. His drawings are enough to make you feel all kinds of emotions, from sadness to anger, from compassion to disgust. He shows us the beauty and the pain of human life, the hope and the despair, the love and the hate. He makes us witness the stories that we might otherwise ignore or forget. And he does it with such skill and grace that you can’t help but admire him.
