Pixie and Brutus is one of those delightful webcomics that never fails to bring a smile to people’s faces, regardless of how their day has been.

The talented artist behind these lovable characters, Ben Hed, has amassed an impressive following of 2.4 million Instagram fans, thanks in part to the undeniable charm of Pixie and Brutus.

However, Ben doesn’t let the growing fanbase put extra pressure on him. “I always strive to make each comic work, just like I did before I created Pixie and Brutus. I’m constantly aiming to improve,” he shares.

Excitingly, Ben is currently working on bringing Pixie and Brutus plushies to life. Although he’s unsure of the exact release date, he can hardly contain his excitement about their upcoming launch. Recently, Ben made the transition to being a full-time illustrator. He jokes, “I don’t see as much sunlight anymore, hahaha. In my construction days, I was always outdoors. Now I spend my days in my dimly lit office with covered windows to avoid screen glare. But don’t worry, it’s not a complaint about the job change. I absolutely love illustration, and I feel incredibly grateful and fortunate to earn a living doing what I adore.”
