When asked about his creative process, Mike shares, “Inspiration strikes me from various sources. For shorter comics, I focus on ideas that would be a blast to illustrate, like a werewolf transforming, a swamp witch, or mischievous ghosts. Then, I weave in a clever joke to bring it all together. As for my longer comics, they often begin with a thought-provoking question such as ‘What if you could summon an endless army of ducks?’ or ‘What if a Twitter spam bot became intelligent?’ From these seeds of curiosity, the characters and stories naturally unfold.”
