Stephen Beals is a passionate artist who has been drawing comics for as long as he can remember simply because he loves the art form. According to Stephen himself, his illustrations serve as a way to unwind after a long day. He named them “Adult Children” because, in his opinion, adulthood is a concept we use to encourage children to behave.

The comics portray relatable situations from everyday life, particularly in the retail sector. Although these glimpses into work life are presented in a humorous manner, we can’t help but sense the characters’ silent cries of helplessness and exhaustion. Yet, at the same time, the illustrations are incredibly relatable.
